It is a hybrid approach wherein PQ boundary forms the region of stability and the real time operating point is plotted inside this stability region and updated at the rate of PMU whereas the stability region is updated with SCADA data rate.   6. The method is based on iteration free estimation of Thevenin parameters and computation of VSAI based on the estimated parameters. The main contribution of the proposed metod is that it doesn’t make assumptions normally made in VIP based approaches.
