Proposed work integrates the knowledge from distributed
optimization, delay-aware control, adaptive model predictive control, data science, distributed
computing, cybersecurity, electric power engineering, and aircraft control to enable resilient and
flexible networked CPS. The proposed research will advance the fundamentals of CPS by addressing the
challenges associated with adaptive control and optimization given adverse cyber events and
